Johnston Builders is a privately owned contracting firm founded in 1990 by Don Johnston. We started small and have grown slowly into a contractor that can handle even the most complex projects. With a current staff of 45 professionals, the firm has successfully completed a wide array of construction projects in the public and private sectors across Western Canada. Johnston Builders specializes in a number of construction sectors including commercial, light industrial, institutional and multi-residential and has a diverse project portfolio including urban retail complexes, hotels, medical facilities, educational institutions, shop/offices and adaptive reuse and restoration. Johnston Builders has been providing design-build, construction management, general contracting and design-assist services to clients for 30 years. Everyone on the Johnston Builders team is accountable for maintaining a vigilant approach to accident prevention and safe work practices throughout all stages of a project. While we follow legislative health and safety requirements, we consider these to be the minimum standard on all our projects.
