Old Crow Community Centre is underway!
The Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) arrived via Snow Cat from Abbotsford, BC during the winter and are in the process of being installed by workers from both Alberta and Yukon. This project is located 100 km into the Arctic Circle requiring the majority of the building components to be pre-fabricated off site. As Old Crow is inaccessible by road, these components and all other building materials and supplies must be transported via aircraft or snow cat (in the winter).
